Creamy aromas of mocha and coffee carry just a whiff of cheese and dill, possibly remnants of the oak treatment. The palate, meanwhile, delivers a nice punch of berries and wood, and like the nose, the finish is creamy. Overall, the wine is generous and pleasant. —M.S.
