Bright purple in color, with an approachable bouquet that features chunky cherry and earth notes. Probably best at first (it doesn't stand up to too much airing), but with enough tight, grabby tannins to push it until the end. Shrill acidity creates the aura of a fresh, lively mouthfeel but also calls out for food as an accompaniment.
