Trapiche 2004 Broquel Chardonnay (Mendoza)

Nice if not enigmatic, with pear, talc and apricot on the healthy bouquet. Trapiche's higher-end Chardonnay offers baked fruit on the sides of the palate and citrus at the center. It's more round and chewy than tight, but with decent acids. Imported by Frederick Wildman & Sons, Ltd. Michael Schachner
