Trathen Hall 2017 Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

Half of the ferment was whole clusters, and the wine has astringent phenolic flavors showing, with details of mint, tarragon, sage and dried Mediterranean herbs. The fruit tilts toward cranberry, with plenty of backing acidity. The wine was aged entirely in neutral oak. Paul Gregutt
