Trimbach 2001 Pinot Blanc (Alsace)

Trimbach may be famed for its superb (and expensive) Rieslings, but for a great value, this Pinot Blanc is a well-made, ripe, rounded wine, which is just now completely ready to drink. With flavors of white peaches and an impressive richness, this could be drunk as an apéritif, but could equally partner cold cuts or fish. Roger Voss
