This is the kind of honest, clean Cabernet I imagine made Napa Valley famous. It's perfectly varietal, with currant and cassis flavors and impeccable balance. Rich tannins are classy, and the wine finishes dry and spicy. It's not big on oak, and it doesn't have the flamboyance of more famous Napa Cabs, but it will age seamlessly.
