The blend of this wine includes all five traditional Bordeaux varieties—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot—mostly from 1970s plantings. It's light in color, with appealing notes of licorice, cedar and cherry. The palate is restrained and elegant, with enough structure to benefit from some additional bottle aging. Best after 2017.
