This is a cofermented mix of 53% Tannat and 47% Malbec. It's rich and loaded with black fruits—berry, cherry and cassis. There's a sharp streak of dark chocolate also, and plenty of acidity. The finish feels somewhat attenuated, but decanting helps to open it up a bit, and another couple of years of bottle age would be optimal. Paul Gregutt
