A blend of 70% Tannat and 30% Malbec, this is a big fruit bowl of a wine, with mixed red berries, citrus and a slice of pineapple. The tannins are ripe but not dominant, and the acidity provides the right balance. It turns a bit stiff in the finish, but another year or two of bottle age should fix that. Paul Gregutt
