Troon 2018 White Family Selection Tannat (Applegate Valley)

Surprisingly light, fruity flavors of strawberry and cherry are out front. There are suggestions of sweet spice and then a finish with chewy, slightly green tannins. Overall it remains a bit disjointed and should benefit from another year (at least) of bottle age. Paul Gregutt
