Using carbonic maceration and whole-cluster fermentation, this is a nouveau style of wine. The bright fruit scents and flavors are front-loaded, and the wine has a lovely perfumed entry. In the mouth it turns tart and grapy, almost like sucking on a sour grape candy. Drink it well-chilled with picnic fare. Paul Gregutt
