Truchard 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (Carneros)

This is a very good, ripe Cabernet that's bursting with blackberry, cherry and chocolate flavors, but it's also very young. The tannins and acids are freshly sharp, and there's a youthful jamminess that's a bit brash now. But it seems to be ageable. Give it four or five years in the cellar.
