Trumpeter 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

From the Maipu subsection of Mendoza, this one runs on the heavy side, with plum and berry aromas, a chewy mouthfeel, and lots of sugar on the finish. Lacks finesse but delivers plenty of flavor along the way. Michael Schachner
