Trumpeter 2003 Merlot (Mendoza)

The bouquet is downright saucy, with molasses, brown sugar and leather aromas. Standard plum and berry make for an average palate, while modest coffee and spice carry the finish. Generally good, but fails to make an impression. Michael Schachner
