Tsillan 2012 Estate Reserve Syrah (Lake Chelan)

Aged in a mixture of new French (80%) and American oak, this leads with barrel notes of woodspice followed by herbs, brown stems, blue fruit and cinnamon. It shows good concentration with quite tart acids and dry, chalky tannins. Sean P. Sullivan
