Turnbull 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

A fine Cabernet from this veteran producer, elegant and stylish. Not one of your fruit bombs, it shows modulated blackberry, currant and herb flavors, leading to a long, spicy finish. Really distinguished, although it's not an ager. Contains a splash of Syrah and Petite Sirah for complexity and color.
