The color is a slightly murky garnet. The wine sends up sweet fruit scents of strawberry preserves along with toasted cracker. There's enough acid here to stiffen it up, but all around it the fruit is soft, broad and open. Lightly spicy with a hint of burnt rubber in the finish.
