A standout in a flight of pricier Chardonnays, this young wine is tight and focused, with a pretty toasty edge. Fresh apple and white peach flavors have taken on a lot of new oak, but have the stuffing to absorb it, especially with a bit more bottle age. A lot of vanilla, custard and almond-cookie goodness fills out the finish.
