Two Mountain 2012 Copeland Vineayard Merlot (Yakima Valley)

This blend of 82% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon is lighter in color. Notes of bittersweet chocolate, fresh herbs, green pepper and raspberries emphasize the savory. It's tart, lighter in style, soft in feel and appealing, but the greenness takes over and the varietal gets lost. Sean P. Sullivan
