Umathum 2017 Rosa Rosé (Burgenland)

A deeper pink signals promising flavors on this vivid rosé wine. There is still a smoky hint of reduction on the nose but the palate has a real backbone of freshness and a phenolic edge that gives more expression to zesty lemon and tender red currant. This is a structured but light rosé that is made for the table. Anne Krebiehl MW
