After this opens with resiny, barbecued aromas, dark berry fruit scents and density take over. The palate on this fairly full Cabernet is creamy and a touch syrupy, while flavors of plum and blackberry finish with chocolate and some heat. Given 2011's cool conditions, this is ripe and healthy.
