Pure Cabernet, from Lewis and Cold Creek. Flavors are fresh and clean with sappy, tart berry flavors. Aromatic notes from the barrel add toasted coconut and mocha. Firm acids buoy the fruit, while retaining a pleasing roundness in the mid-palate. This is still quite young with pure, sweet cherry fruit and a slight rawness to the tannins. It should continue to improve in bottle for some years.
