One whiff reveals deep, ripe, lush black-fruit aromas, and the palate is as chunky, rich and full of berries and dark plums as the nose indicates. Like most '03s, this is broad and a touch soft. It has just enough acid and tannin to keep it lively now and for the next year or so.
