Raspberry, currant and tomato aromas are deepened by a hint of prune and tree bark. This is full but choppy on the palate, with pointed acidity. Baked plum, maple and molasses flavors finish warm, with weight and balsamic notes. This tastes like it came from a hot year, which 2009 was.
