This opens with gaseous aromas of rubber and earth. Time in the glass reveals red-berry scents, spice and dried leaves. In the mouth, this pops with cheek-attacking acidity, and thus things feel shear, with herbal, leafy flavors of red plum and raspberry. An herbal tasting, slightly scratchy feeling finish is par for the course. Drink now through 2019.
