Not sure exactly what's happening at Bianchi in San Rafael. A few years back Bianchi's wines were almost all exemplary but lately they've been all over the map. This overoaked, charred Cabernet is a perfect example of a wine without a cause. It's burnt, herbal and while it has mouthfeel, nothing seems to be working in tandem.
