ValentĂn Bianchi 2016 Malbec (Mendoza)

Weird aromas of cinnamon and jammy raspberry fuel a nose with little conviction. This Malbec from a generally poor vintage feels fleshy, sappy and jammy. Savory but herbal plum flavors are oaky and accented by clove and cinnamon prior to a flat, mildly green-tasting finish. Michael Schachner
