There's very little to take issue with here. It's an intense, extracted mouth-filling beauty with leather, black plum and licorice aromas. The palate is plush, creamy and packed full of vanilla and kirsch. What a ripe and ready red you'll find in this Bordeaux-style blend; drink sooner rather than later. ––M.S.
