Fans of hammering new oak will take to this charred, barrel-driven Tempranillo that hits forcefully with coffee, bacon and toast. It's loud, aggressive and amplified as it pumps black fruit, chocolate and drying tannins. Good for its power and potency but not deserving of style points.
