Via Romano 2015 Barbera (El Dorado County)

This is a really well-made, flavorful and nicely balanced wine from a new winery that's doing exciting things. It's full bodied, moderately tannic and moderately acidic which is typical of the varietal, but backed by wonderful ripe black-cherry, black-olive and black-pepper flavors. Jim Gordon
