Vidon Vineyard 2016 Brigita Clone 777 Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Firmly focused with pinpoint flavors of peppery strawberry and mulberry, this single-clone cuvée was fermented with native yeast and aged for 18 months in French oak. There's a light note of tomato leaf in the aromatics, and a gentle touch with the wood, which adds a welcome streak of buttery caramel in the finish. Paul Gregutt
