Vidon Vineyard 2018 3-Clones Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

A most interesting set of aromatics include earthy white mushrooms, red raspberries, violets and the nutty-honeyed qualities of a fresh-brewed cup of rooibos tea. The palate is just as interesting, with its sweet red cherry, citrus and donut peach combination. The wine's fine-grained tannins are joined by surprisingly brisk acidity. The three clones are Dijon 777, Dijon 115, and Pommard, all planted in 2020. Michael Alberty
