Made with Sangiovese and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, it opens with aromas of plum, berry, spice, leather and a hint of toast. The palate holds fleshy black cherry accented with notes of cinnamon and clove alongside aggressive, dusty tannins that overwhelm the finish. It closes on a drying note.
