Light in color and aromas. The nose is mostly dried red fruit and spice. The palate is tart yet precise; it's not sour but it's very peppy, with bright acids and plenty of red fruit in the raspberry or pie-cherry vein. A light, airy finish with a modicum of creaminess closes the package. Michael Schachner
