Villa Maria 2018 Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough)

This well-balanced wine bursts with fruit-bowl characteristics of grapefruit, lime and passion fruit with black-currant leaf, grass and jalapeño pepper to boot. It's slippery in texture, tangy fruited and buoyed by crisp acidity. A long passion fruit note lingers on the finish. Christina Pickard
