This is 100% Merlot, ripe and soft, with a buttery, luscious mouthfeel. The fruit is pretty and round, offering up tangy plum, cherry and cooked berry. Tannins are in the background; there is an impression of residual sugar, though the specs say none is there. Nonetheless, the wine is soft, accessible, fruity and quite pleasant to drink.
