Viña Alicia 2010 Paso de Piedra Malbec (Mendoza)

This is a heavy wine with an earthy, almost stewed-smelling nose that is defined by raisin and prune aromas. It feels grabby on the palate, with chunky, blocky berry and prune flavors. This musclebound Malbec finishes rubbery and ripe. Michael Schachner
