Viña Aquitania 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley)

Hard, spicy aromas of green tobacco, eucalyptus and bell pepper ride atop black cherry and dark plum notes. A tight, drawing palate frames herbal, spicy berry and plum flavors that are rugged and finish savory but leafy and herbal. If you know Chilean Cabernet, this is a textbook version with plenty of spicy green character. Drink through 2024. Michael Schachner
