Mildly toasty, with baked berry, olive and jam-like aromas. More snappy and crisp than expected, with red plum flavors and very tight, protruding tannins. Chocolate and some sugar beet come together on the finish. A touch too firm in terms of mouthfeel. Michael Schachner
