Like most Cobos wines, this pours on the richness along with deep aromas and flavors. Scents of cola, black cherry, baking spices and toast lead to a quasi syrupy palate with knife-and-fork thickness. Flavors of cream, toast and mint set up a second layer of baked black fruit. Finally, this heavyweight finishes with density, creamy richness and burnt toast notes. Drink now through 2017; 65 cases made. Michael Schachner
