Viña La Rosa 2004 La Capitana Barrel Reserve Carmenère (Cachapoal Valley)

Fairly pickled on the nose, backed by a wayward sweetness in the form of burnt brown sugar and nutmeg. Adequate mouthfeel, arguably a touch thick, but in the end it's less than exciting in terms of flavor. Michael Schachner
