After early horsey aromas subside, this Cab-Merlot blend offers blackberry and leather scents in front of a standard feeling, round body with good acidity. Lightly roasted and salty flavors accent core berry tastes, while the finish is sound and comfortable. Overall this is a nice wine from a tough vintage.
