Shows nice size and pop given that it's now almost seven years old. There are warm berry, leather and maple aromas, and after that ample red-fruit flavors rise up and make a statement. On the finish there's some wayward buttery oak and mint, but overall this is a good wine that can be drunk now or held for another few years at most.
