A bit of leather and rubber give the wine's red-fruit aromas a touch of rusticity, while the palate is thick and rich, with mildly baked flavors of plum and blackberry. Overall it's solid and healthy, with a finish of mocha, coffee and pastry. Good wine for not a ton of cash.
