Full and meaty, but kind of awkward and earthy. The nose has leather and stewed blackberry while the palate shows black fruit, cassis, chocolate and even some nutmeg. The feel is tannic and fiery, and overall the wine is sort of saucy and big-boned. Imported by Wineco Corp. Michael Schachner
