Viña Requingua 2017 Toro de Piedra Gran Reserva Carmenère-Cabernet Sauvignon (Maule Valley)

Soupy, slightly green aromas are herbal but common for base-level Carmenère and Cab Sauvignon, which this is. A big and blowsy palate is dark and saturated, but rubbing and hard. Lightly stewed berry flavors turn savory on a finish with lasting green notes. Michael Schachner
