Crusty, dark and big all over; this is a full, minerally Syrah with molten intensity and floral accents. The palate is broad, round and loaded with toasty, spicy plum and other black-fruit flavors. The finish is warm and chocolaty, and as a whole it's delivering a lot more depth and quality than most $14 wines.
