A bit woody, plump and melony on the bouquet, with very little mineral, oceanic zest or citrus to cut into things. The wine is more alert in the mouth, where a streak of acidity offsets soft apple, melon and oak-based spice flavors. Finishes easy, with pretty good feel and yet another wave of oak.
