This manly blend of Cabernet, Tempranillo, Merlot and Zinfandel spends no less than 30 months in oak, and apparently that's what's needed to coax out roasted aromas of baked plum and raspberry. It's a bit choppy in terms of tannic bite, but Gran Amado's huge profile of raspberry, plum, cassis and cherry flavors blends power with enough complexity to rate as excellent. Drink through 2018.
