Vincent Girardin 2018 Vieilles Vignes (Chassagne-Montrachet)

A touch of pine resin joins the toasty oak notes on the nose. The palate also carries that smokiness and adds an earthy sense of red cherry. Firm tannins crunch and make this rather rustic but the finish is juicy, bright and fresh. Anne Krebiehl MW
